Letting go, is letting go of the thought, the mind, the story. Close your eyes, tune into what letting go means to you, and what it is that you’d like to let go of today.

  • Take the time to today or tomorrow, to have this in your heart, and see how it feels to help this guide your experience.

  • If you’d like, please share with me how it felt for you, what happened, what did you discover about yourself or your relationship to the world? Send your reflections with a photo of where you’ve placed this painting: on a wall, as a bookmark, laying on your desk, or maybe even tucked away in a journal. Don’t worry, I won’t be offended if it ends up stuffed in a book. I just hope this somehow brought a moment of awareness or kindness for yourself.

  • If you would like to practice the art of giving and non-attachment, I’d challenge you to give this to someone else…. Tell them how it was for you, and share what you learned. Invite them to try the same for the day, reflect and place it somewhere as a reminder of that experience, and maybe when they’re ready to, they can pass it on. Ask them, to share either anonymously or if they’re courageous to, reveal who they are…

  • Tag me in a post, or send me an email, and I’d love to share your reflections if you do post publicly.

  • The whole purpose is to show how we can connect with each other even if we’re far apart, or if we feel like we can’t relate to the world, that we might be alone or weird or “too damaged” or “too much” and in truth of humanity, we’re actually all in this together.

  • HOw does it feel to receive this gift? Can you share what it’s like to say I accept this gift?

  • How does it feel to share this gift and let go, can you share what it’s like to give?
